Eyebrow piercing and being punched

    Hey there,

I've got an eyebrow piercing which is pretty much completely healed and I have a metal bar through it.The problem is that I have started to do some boxing sparring and obviously whenever I get hit the piercing moves around and it can get a little sore.

Just wondering if any one has any experience of the best way to deal with this, is it a complete no no or are there ways to protect the piercing? I was thinking of getting a plastic retainer to put in, then covering it with a plaster so it couldn't move around, but I don't know if that would even help. Anyone advice would be appreciated.

Putting a retainer in it isn't going to do much for it at all.
You're still gonna have jewellery in it, so it will still move around.
If it's healed and it's not gonna colse up on you while you're boxing, I'd suggest taking it out until you're done and then put it back in.
If it's gonna get moved around a lot, it will just goet irratated and probably have a high risk of rejection.
