1 in temple bar past the old dnc cafe. it's the green shop beside subway place :D

walk from temple bar down towards dnc / bad bob's and take the left turn and head out towards dame street, it's on the right hand side. dunno if it's 1st second or third left as i havn't been there in a while. it's a component store btw

IT Direct on Parliament Street (see Yawn's directions above)
Maplin on Jervis Street and Blanchardstown Centre
    Marx Computers in Fairview
    Peats on Parnell Street

I'm sure there's others as well.

Maplins on Jervis Street do components, they are a tad expensive though

It direct maplin and peats are nearly all the same price in products and quite expensive..may not seem expensive to you butwhen your getting a lot of different components..it all adds up...but this marx computer place is brilliant...cheap enough prices compared to the other shops and im able to just go in and pay for the things and bring them home..my basket added up to roughly 900 but i got alot for that so i dont care ..im gonna order after christmas when i actually have the money..there will probably be lower prices on some stuff as well..thanks macros42 for tellin me and thanks for the other suggestions boys..if any one else knows shops that havent been mentioned plaese feelfree to post them here plaese

Turn up the Malahide Road. about 150 yards up there's a pub on the right called Kavanaghs. Go up the lane beside that pub and Marx is on the right.

You're welcome. I forgot to mention Hitide - www.hitide.ie. You can only order online but you can collect and pay at his house. Good prices too.

PC Smart on Capel st down the Bolton st side is pretty good and much cheaper than Peats and certainly more helpful than IT Direct who seem to be a little reluctant to refund or exchange things that do come up to scratch.
Also these guys do cheap photocopies and stuff for archetectural students and stationery

hitide isnt the best..it doesnt have any processors or motherboards and not a great collection of products..and the prices arent that cheaper than peats..but thanks for telling me because i might get one or two components there..

yea marx comps is quite cheap enough but i have no means of travelling there hence i forget about it all the time.

i usually try to get some1 with a cc and order from komplett and pay the person up front with the cash so they don't have to worry

There's a place on the Johnstown road off the N11 at Cabinteely, called A1 Computers. 2849715.
    www.a1computers.ie
I've bought a few small things off them. Very helpful.
