At this time of year Chicago is getting coooooooold!

Have a wander down Navy Pier...Although most things will be closed down there.

Defo if you have time go down to the Museum campus...If your not interested in Museums then just go for the walk around, but the Oceanarium and Planerarium are deadly!

If you can afford it have dinner in the Signature room on the 95th floor of the John hancock looking out over the city but if not just have a cocktail in the bar on the 96th instead.

Go to to the top of the Sears Tower and do what Ferris Beuller did and stand up on the guard rails and lean forward against the glass with your hands out...really freaky!

If your into sports then go the the United centre for a basketball/ice hockey game...I would doubt you will get tickets for Soldier field and a Bears game!

There is more shopping than you can shake a stick at on Michigan Ave but also plenty of outlet stores there too so you wont have to pay full whack.

Also get a guided tour up the river/prob not the best time of year to be doing it but its a nice trip...If not that then see from your hotel what bus trips are available in the city.

Grant park is nice too as is the fountain (You may remember it from the beginning of the series "Married with Children").

Thast all that comes to mind now but if I can remember more will post again.

Am really jealous of you hading over there....Its a kick ass place

BTW...Almost forgot if you want some jazz or especially blues then the house of blues is always lively if not a little touristy...have a look in the free papers for daily listings but the choice is fantastic throughout the city! Plenty of music from all over the world from opera to African.
