Martial Arts Classes for a beginner in the stillorgan / sandyford / dundrum area...

I'm sure this question gets asked all the time, but here goes...

I'm thinking of taking up some form of martial art classes - nothing too serious, just something to keep fit, more along the lines of gymnastics than actually fighting.

So my question is two fold:
    1. What type of martial art would people recommend?
    2. What good club would people recommend in the Stillorgan, Co. Dublin area?

    I appreciate any suggestions.

    Thanks,
    Darragh
