    My new favourite (put possibly cos its the most recent i have read) Mr Pump and his Golem mates make for some excellent scenes, sadly i coudl see the end comgin from the very 1st moment "princess" is mentioned but very well how it spins towards the inevitable ending.

    Many many LOL moments.

    Agreed, if not the best certainly up there with the cream of the crop. How does Terry Pratchett do it? Most fantasy series wear very thin after 5 or 6 books and spoof/satire works ages even more quickly yet the discwolrd universe continues to come up with the goods. Sure you can see the ending coming but it's the little details which keep the whole thing fresh.

    Yeah Going Postal is very much up there with the best but have to say Night Watch is my current favourite!! Tho the brothers girlfriend just bought me THUD so am really looking forward to it!!!

    btw, just found out this topic so will be comin back for more!! Legendary!!
