Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I don't think it is......

Can anyone tell me where Stamullen is in relation to Balbriggan. I know it's in Meath, but how far away from Balbriggan and is it accessible if you don't have a car?

I would appreciate a speedy reply on this folks as I'm hanging off making a phone call depending on distance and accessibility.

    Many thanks.

    Thanks Mate.

Just used it, but it wasn't the best. Told me Stamullen was in Dublin, as far as I know it's in Meath. But apart from that, directions were scare. "Start out at Balbriggan. Turn left. Arrive at Stamullen"!! Ahh that's almost funny.

Really Welly? Geee's I never thought of that you know? I DIDN'T consult my atlas which DIDN'T show me where it was. I DIDN'T try Google Maps which DIDN'T show me where it was. I DIDN'T Google Image it which DIDN'T show me much. I DIDN'T ring my friend in Balbriggan who WASN'T any help. I DIDN'T text my mate in Skerries whom I DIDN'T get a reply from. I DIDN'T try the AA Route Planner as suggested which DIDN'T show me anything useful.

Posting on boards for something I needed an answer too realatively quickly WASN'T a last resort.

If you can't be helpful.... please don't be a Smart Ass.

It says just stay on the R132 (the road through Balbriggan past Church) for 15 minutes... if it comes to it you're best bet might be to just drive until you see a sign.

    Thanks Folks.

Not being a driver I'm unsure of the road's around here. I had used Google Earh in the past, but found our part of the world lacking in detail. Also if you ever look at the map of dublin, half of it appears to be missing!!!

Thanks for any positive help so far, it really is honestly appreciated.

It tells you to follow the R132 and there will obviously be a sign to balbriggan turning left. It also says it will take about 15 minutes, and as someone mentioned its about 15 minutes out of dublin, so i think its right ;).

seeing as you dont drive, directions from what i can remember. i live in balbriggan so i "should" know. coming from dublin city, head north and drive through balbriggan, continue for about 3k give or take and you get to a place where theres two pubs (cock tavern & huntsman) on either side of the road. take the left here and continue down this road until you reach gormanstown college and take the right at it and then it should be more or less a straight road from there. think you drive over the bridge over the motorway. then be careful, the last time i was there i didnt realise i was there and kept driving, but then my excuse was that is was dark

If they reach the colllege then they have gone to far though.

You take a right just as you reach the high stone wall. Then you pass playing fields on your right and tennis courts on your left. This is the school. Continue up this road over the M1 motorway Stamullen P.O. is somewhere on the left handside shortly after the M1 crossover.
