I have Wario, Polarium and (of course) Advance Wars. Any other good touch screen-centric games? I've seen Yoshi down in Game - is it purely touch screen? I had Meteos, but hated it.

Yoshi's Touch and Go is pretty much all touch-screen. So is Kirby Canvas Curse - but that's only out in the US and Japan at the moment.

Try Project Rub... it's sort of Sega's answer to Wario Ware.

It's pretty good, but it you'll be finished it fairly quickly.

There is also Another Code, which is sort of like MYST... but makes some amazing uses of the DS's abilities... even the act of closing over the lid is used to solve puzzles.

Trauma Center should be out here soon enough.... its one of the best uses of the touch screen. You use the stylus to operate on patients (heal tumours, remove bits of glass and other debris, stitch them up etc.).... very cool game.

Not sure when it is out exactly (don't think it has even been announced for europe), but you can import it from the US.

Kirby Canvas Curse is another excellent game - out here at the end of next week (25th)

Oh... and don't forget about Nintendogs.

Was going to recommend Meteos. I can't see how anyone can hate that game.

there's also Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney.

I would have suggested Phoenix Wright, but he was looking for touch-centric games (I don't think hitting the 'A' button ever 3 seconds counts. :)

Phoenix Wright is a fantastic game, though.... I'm really enjoying it..

I have Yoshi: Touch & Go and it's pretty bad to be honest, it's fun for five minutes when baby mario falls from the sky but it has serious lifespan issues as it's essentially side scrolling platformer with randomly generated levels (where the only difference is the background :( , I was expecting a lot more from this game). Buy Kirby's canvas curse when it comes out over here on the 25th of November, friends of mine in Japan have told me it's great and is (as you say) a Stylus-centric game. I had Another Code when it first came out but it's decidely easy and short for a point and click adventure, engrossing while it lasts though. Castlevania doesn't use the stylus (except briefly, to smash blocks and draw sealing symbols) but it's a truly excellent game, reminiscent of the old Castlevania games, I highly recommend it, it has great replay value too.

Yeah, Phoenix Wright is on my list (despite the button use, damn buttons :)), as is Trauma Centre. Nintendogs is just not my cup of tea at all. Might look into Kirby and Another Code sounds good.

As for Meteos, I don't know why, I just thought it was bit too frantic and I found myself just randomly pushing around the stylus in an effort to find random blocks. Maybe I'm just too old for that sort of thing...

The thing about Meteos is that unfortunately, random stylus rubbing works. Apart from that, it's a great puzzle game. I don't mind frantic... hell, I was brought up on Tetris!

I wouldn't get another code if i were you, it's a bit short (5 hours!), and is really really fustrating. Yoshi touch and go was another huge letdown, but you MUST get advance wars. Also, get mario kart. Now

I'm playing Lost in Blue at the moment... You play a boy and a girl shipwrecked on a tropical island. It's pretty good fun and should keep me going until Animal Crossing DS comes out.

It's pretty tricky though... and my god is the girl stupid... she'll sit in the cave and die of thirst unless I grab her by the hand and drag to the river and force her to drink... the river is right outside the cave...!

Oh.. and by the way... Project Rub is only €19.99 in Smiths at the moment... and €14.99 second hand.

I got Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney the other day. There's not that much playing involved; it's basically a text-heavy interactive story about a lawyer where it's up to you to defend your clients by solving clues, seeking evidence and using the information you've discovered for the upcoming trial.

You can play the game with just the stylus, however it's mainly used for menus and the like, so you're not going to go nuts with the thing.

So far I'm enjoying it immensely. It's full of charisma and wonderfully simple to play.

I saw an ad in (I think) the Game free mag thing I got in the post yesterday, Touch Golf. Can't find any decent reviews of it online, but it looks like you use the touch screen to swing and putt, which sounds kinda awesome. It's out on Friday, according to what I'm hearing...

According to GameFAQs, its out in Europe on Friday. Looks really good, but I wouldn't buy without reading some reviews....
