Encryption in XP vs. Linksys WRT54G

    Hi folks,

I have a brand new WRT54G, but I'm having grief with wireless under XP.

I can connect to it perfectly if I disable the security, but when encryption is enabled neither of my XP machines can obtain an IP address, even though they can "connect". I also have an old Win98SE machine in the house with an SMC card and it will connect under all protocols. Wired LAN connectioins work perfectly.

I upgraded to the latest firmware with no improvement.

    All ideas welcome!

Have you disabled Wireless Zero Configuration and tried to use the utility that came with your wireless card?
