I'm not quite sure if he means that they mean nothing. I think what he means is that he can derive no specific meaning from the individual numbers (i.e why 4 8 15 16 23 42) But that we will see more of the numbers origins..like the original broadcast. Their meaning will never be completely explained...but come on they gotta give us something!
