Not even a final table in the whole series. I feel dirty.

I've been on a good run lately too but couldn't get anything done in the BCOOP. I demand a new series is created, a greater series where I get to all final tables. Make it so.

Well played Imposter - I dont normally try and get all in with AK on a 5 hi board but I thought there was a good chance I was ahead plus a lot in the pot to make sucking out worth a chance, I never considered a set.

Wanted to play this tonight and had set the time aside but my ISP decided to crap out until nearly an hour after the start time.

Well done to padraigf for yet another consistant finish.

gg & wp to all that took part in this series ;)

Look forward to the next one ... and maybe even to a game of HORSE

Thanks, I would've preferred to be in the money though. Still not sure about my exit hand, whether it was the right play or not. Here it is if anyone has any insights. My read was that spotmejack wasn't that strong, the size of his reraise suggested to me that he wanted to pick up the pot pre-flop. Also I have a stronger hand than I might typically have here, I'm raising the short-stack on the button. I thought there might have been several Ax hands that he'd make the move with. But many pocket-pairs too, and I hate coin-flipping on the bubble against the one player who can bust me.

It was a tough call for you Padraig.

You had been constantly raising my SB/BB and there wasn't much of a fight from me. (Apart from the odd revenge steal ;) )

I put you on a weak ace and assumed you were just at it again and came back over the top of you and you're right I wanted the hand to end there.

But considering this was the first time I came back at you I would have read me pretty strong and folded AQ here when you pushed I still had you on Ax and was willing to take a race if I won it was putting me in a very strong position and if I lost I was still in the running.

I thought the flop was 75x but it matters not. I did the same trick later on with pockets 2's :)

I was happy with my game although I could have been severely crippled (would have had 300 left) early on by Aidan when I called his all-in with an open ended straight draw and 2 overcards. I was pretty sure he didn't have a made straight and worse case scenario I had 8 outs and I was priced in for that. Turned out i'd 11 outs but 8 of them would only split the pot. He had JJ and I had AJ (flop 89T).

I was prettty happy after that but went a bit card dead on the final table and didn't feel too comfortable bluffing as there was some very good players there. In the end i'm a bit disappointed I only got third as I had a huge stack coming to the final table but such is poker. Congrats to Muso and NTL on the cashes and Padraig on the series win.

Well done Padraig and well done Muso! Great fun game last night, was knocked out in 5th when NTL (button) raised my BB, I found Jacks and duly went all-in with my short stack, and NTL duly called (he wasn't asked for that much more) with A5s. An ace on the flop sent me home...er, to bed at least :) I was short stacked for most of the final table, so was happy to have lasted as long as I did. We went a long long time when first down to 5 without seeing a flop, it was nice and agressive :)
