    Konica Minolta has recently discovered a problem with some of its digital cameras manufactured between October, 2002 and March, 2004. The following products may be affected:

    * DiMAGE 7i
    * DiMAGE 7Hi
    * DiMAGE A1
    * DiMAGE Xi
    * DiMAGE Xt
    * DiMAGE X20
    * DiMAGE S414
    * DiMAGE F300

    Full details:

    I stumbled across this just now as I had a problem with the flash on my S414 and thought there might be firmware/a way to re-flash it on KonicaMinolta's site (no such luck) but I thought this should be brought to everyone's attention.

    This appears to be a general problem with CCD's manufactured, I think, by Sony and has affected not only certain Konica-Minolta cameras, but Sony, Canon, Fuji and Olympus too. See the news section on dpreview.com for more details.
