Telescope in Aldi

Has anyone bought one of the telescopes that were in Aldi on Sunday? What do ye think? The spec looks good enough, but I dont know enough about telescopes to know for sure. I'm considering buying it as a present for someone who has some interest in star gazing, but does not have any equipment yet.... advice? thanks.
