Question on sky digital setup

    I have sky digital in the sitting room and sky + in the kitchen and i want to put a system in one of the bedrooms ( rows in our house over telly is cruel) and im wondering if I got a 2nd hand box and an indoor aerial could I pick up a signal.I dont want to go putting up an extra dish and ive seen sky indoor aerials on the net but dont know if they are any good

    I've never hear of a sky indoor aerial and I doubt they are any good, in any case you have a spare output on your dish as it is now so just run a new cable with F connectors at either end. If you do not intend using a viewing card a Free to air box can be had new for 89 euro. Check out the sticky for retailers.

    No aerial will pick up the signal, at all. And I really doubt you want to mount a satellite dish inside a south facing window....

    Take Tony's advice. Make sure it is proper double screened sat cable.
