College Cisco Project

    hey everyone,

    Sorry to spam like this.

my name is Conor and I am developing a Cisco Router Security Threat Analyser for my final year project in college.

In doing so I am required to provide a questionnaire to gain feedback from end users and people who work with Cisco equipment and can give me ideas as to what to encorporate into my project and what functionality I should concentrate on.

I was wondering if anyone here who uses any Cisco equipment would take a minute or two to fill in my questionnaire as my lecturer says I need to provide more user feedback but no one is filling in my questionnaire and that includes the staff here.

The application will login to a router and parse it's configuration looking for anything that will make the router weak and it will then suggest changes that can be made to enhance the routers security. The application will also attempt brute force attacks against the router's services such as:

    snmp
    telnet
    tftp
    web server

to see if it can gain entry without login information and after all that provide the user with a HTML report of its findings.

If could spare a few minutes to fill in my questionnaire I would greatly appreciate it. There are only nine questions and all information will only be published in my project documentation

    Many thanks,
    Conor.
