I've had a good week at the Sporting Emporium, and am starting to put together my black book of notes. The question for the group at large is, who should I really be watching out for? Who are the top players in the various games?

Basically, does anyone want to help me get a quicker introduction to the players of Dublin by sharing your notes?

There aren't any good players in Dublin. Everyone knows all the sharks are in the west.

A shark? I always put them down as people who watched too much TV.

The General is the best player in Dublin, you should also watch out for Andy Black, Scott Gray, Donnacha O'Dea and Peter Roche

You would be very unlucky for one of these guys to turn up at your table on average night in the sporting.

unless your playing high stake cash games.
