Mains power keeps stopping

Hi, My laptop (compaq evo 1020v) keeps losing mains power, each time I have to mess with the power cord to get it back and its getting worse. I think it might be the adaptor rather than the laptop, does anyone know where i might purchase one to replace the one thats knackered. ie. is there a universal power adaptor. fanks…

Hi,

You can get generic ones from Maplins,PC World, or expansys.ie..or try the Wanted section on Boards:)
