    Yep we had it,

Was funny putting in a tape of some rock band and watching him try to keep up.

Eyes were scary though, i had nightmares......

Teddy Ruxpin was a dubliner. We got him on a trip to London in hamleys when i was like 6 or 7. I still have the tapes but they dont work in normal cassette players. I dont know were ole ruxpin went I think hes mouth stopped moving and my mam threw him out!
He had a tv show as well, didnt he eat oatmeal too? I cant remember, but my teddys when I were young were zig and zag, and teddy ruxpin and I used to line them up next to me in the bed.

Oh those eyes... those terribe eyes!

I never had one... but he used to freak me out whenever I saw him in the shops.

The way the eyes moved around inside what was essentially an inanimate object made look like somebody's soul was trapped inside it.
