Okay, so I got my John Petrucci graphics kit for my ibanez and applied it! Looked savage cept for an air bubble so when I pulled up the decal to re-apply it took all the paint from under it with it (very thin paint  ). The wood underneath does look savage so I am going ahead with the paint stripping in a few weeks, just im not sure whats products are used to finish/protect a natural finish?

Cheers lads, I picked up some tung oil today, real nice stuff actually, have dropped some into some laquer dents on the neck of a second hand guitar I bought and it dried seamlessly into the surrounding laquer :v: Also picked up a Peruvian mahogany wood dye for the Ibanez, should look fantastic with a set of white Dimarzio's. Hopefully the body will be finished by Sunday night and I'll put pictures up :D
