Dublin bus strike!!

    I have heard through several rumours that Dublin bus are going on strike next week. Did anyone else hear anything about this?

    there was a vote for strike action on friday. and they voted overwhelingly in favor

    heard about it.. i wonder how they think they have a case though.. i mean its not the fault company if the EU has regulations that limit them to 48 hours a week. Their basic wage is not bad at all but its the OVERTIME where they make money.. do enough and you can earn over €1000 per week!! Sure its taxed to hell but still... Anyway i do not see why they should strike straight out because of this.

    sounds like its just a lot of older more comfortable overtimers throwing a fit as they cant do as much overtime.

    My dad is a bus driver, not sure of his stand but i would be surprised of he supported it.
