Quick question lads....anyone any experience with going further than 5 meters with USB 2. This is the max USB 2 working distance??? Has anyone used usb repeaters or any other method to extend past this distance.....i need to go about 15 meters...

It is the max cable length. I'd never bother TBH. It's far too likely to cause trouble / fail when you need if you even managed to get it 15 meters..
What are you trying to do?:)

the 5m is built into the spec. you can get USB extenders or usb hubs that give you another 5m each so two of those,

with DIY cables you might get further with USB 1 than 2 because of the slower speed
