digital recorder

    Besides signing up to sky can anyone recommend a digital recorder that can be used to record tv ? I'm assuming that since this would not be a sky machine that it will only be able to record one channel at a time and that they sky box would have to be set to this channel.

    Actually allmost all the non-Sky Digital receivers have dual tuners too, but only can receive / record the FTA programs.

    There is a degradation with any Sky -> analog -> Digital recorder solution./ One with HDD and DVD play/ writing is best.
