My wine coloured boxers ran with one of my favorite t-shirts.

It was a light grey one now it’s a pink/grey colored one.

To get rid of the pink I was gona dye the t-shirt black so it can be wearable.

    It’s a cotton t-shirt.

Does any one know if this can be done and the best way to ago about it i.e what dye to use how to dye it etc.

im no expert, but i would imagine with it being cotton, it'd be easy to dye? get a dye thats used for tiedying only dont tie parts of the fabric cos u'll end up with a black t-shirt with pink and grey tiedye! or bring the t-shirt into a shop that sells dye, and ask them!

If it's pure cotton it should be very easy to dye. Just go into your local chemist and ask for a black fabric dye (I like to use the hand-dye ones, as opposed to machine dye, but whichever suits you best).

However, you have to bear in mind the colour rules when dyeing. The shade shown on the box will be black on pure white, your t-shirt will still end up with a very slight pink tinge.

Edit: and as for how to dye it, there will be full instructions on the box. Just follow them.

There are products on the market which claim to be able to remove the dye from clothing where the wash has run. You can get them in any supermarket, just tale a good look at the pruducts in the washing powder aisle to find it. It may be worth a try before trying the dye job.

PLease do read the instrctions and don't mix darks and lights or white again to avid such a disaster. I know you're a man but it's not honestly that hard.
