    Hi Guys,

    I'm interested in this Laptop.

    Pentium M-760 (2.0GHz) - RAM 1024MB - HD 160GB (2x80GB) - NVidia GeForce6800 Go - 17.0 TFT (1440x900) - DVD RW/DL - XPH.

Now the best price i've found is in Germany, but i'm looking for any recommendations for good prices in Ireland. I've searched at the links in the first topic and found ridiculous prices...

    Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. If anyone has any price comparison sites for the US and UK, I would greatly appreciate the links!

you can get it for around average €1,500 - €1,600.

Cheapest I have found in Ireland is on average €200 more expensive..

Aye. €1,576.80 + Vat is the cheapest I found it in Ireland - MicroAid.ie
Claim it as a company expense... ?:p

Although, have you checked the warranty: If you order from Germany, there's a good chance that you get a 2 year+ warranty as default (Just ensure that the OS is in English)

heh, I've actually found a cheaper offer from an Irish supplier on the Fujitsu Siemens website, €1,515 + VAT (€1,833). Also, a company in Kerry is offering it for €1,800...

Another company in Limerick is offering it for €1,495 + VAT, (€1,810).

I think I just have to call around a bit more!

Any further help would be appreciated, maybe from some dealers in Dublin?

if you buy in germany the vat is only 17%, plus remember that the keyboard will be german layout, the OS will be german and the warranty may not be valid in Ireland
