Poker Thoery Question

You sit down at a game and within the first few minutes you realise that it's very loose and most have deep stacks.
Obviously your aim here becomes to play less hands and stack someone but how does this change your starting hands nad how you play them.

Would you be more inclined to push with big pairs or call in late position with low suited connectors??

I realise it's a bit cheeky looking for free advice but I was hit with this situation the other day and have been wondering?

    Thanks in advance,

The deeper the stacks and the worse the players (relative to you) the more hands you can play for a profit. If you are playing in a 50bb game then you will tend to do as well as your preflop hand selection, there just isnt enough money to be made in the later streets to make up for the loss in pot equity preflop. In a 100bb game you can open up a little, but 23s is never going to be profitable utg. In a 250 bb or bigger game then you can really let the boat out in terms of hand selection. However to be very loose preflop but still be a winner you will have to be a much better player than the others - because you are going to be constantly in pots with a sub par hand; knowing when your beaten is cruical.

Ive played in games and killed them playing every single hand because I could constantly get to the flop for less than 1/100th of the effective stack.
