Apparently there's a growing fetish for these. An abduction company www.extremekidnapping.com charges from $1,500 upwards for "the most realistic kidnapping scenarios on the market." (No sexual activity involved)

Surely it defeats the purpose of the whole thing if you already know you're going to be kidnapped no ?

As far as I know, they don't tell you it's going to happen (except for the fact that you've paid for it). I remember reading a magazine article about it, and you pretty much get treated like dirt for a few days. Apparently though it's so stupidly realistic, you begin wondering if it's actually real about halfway through - you haven't met the people who kidnap you.

Find out who signed up for it, then _REALLY_ kidnap them, and ransom them off. And they'll be cooprative thinking you're the guys he paid for.

Yeah I read thay make it realistic by throwing beer over you or making you dig your own grave. Still, not worth a grand and a half to have someone tie you up, throw you in the boot of a car and drive you to an unknown destination. I'd volunteer free of charge to do that to certain people !
