    thanks Pal.
Greenman, I am in County Kildare. And where is the best place to get equipment or installation. I find satellite.ie a bit bewildering in that it doesn't offer advice.

    Afternnon,
I too am based in Kildare. I staretd off with the Lidl kit (comag SL55, 80cm dish and LNB), but after a power supply failure, I bought a Strong 6355 from satellite.ie

If you only want FTA, any of the systems here http://www.satellite.ie/acatalog/FreeToAirSatelliteSystems.html will do you fine. You will also need a motor or as someone else said, a bracket to hold 3 Lnb's, one for each of the satellites you are looking for. I don't know how well this will work as I have not tried it myself.

If you are going to be watching Hotbird, you may want to get a receiver that has common interface slots. This will allow you to view pay tv on various satellites by inserting the correct cam/card.

Anyway, if you need more info, just report back here. Alternatively, ring satellite.ie or another supplier, tell them what ytou want to do and I am sure that they will be more than helpfull.

    Good advice MJ,
Consider this bracket for your needs.

    triax_multi.jpg

I've ordered one locally and will report back on its merits.
If you buy all the stuff in one go it will cost, like MJ I started off with a simple 1 dish,1 receiver system now I'm up to a 4 dish 4 receiver system!!
I would go with the Triax dish they are great!!!
Its all down to your finances.
Consider a bit of trawling on the net!!!
    Try http://www.satelitska-tv.com/montaza_multifeed.asp

Let us know how you get on!!!
