    folks

i recently looked at a web site, i think it was uk or irish for buying MA gear... I was specifically looking at a timer, you know to ring at 3 mins with 1 min break etc etc

I think i got the link off this site, problem is i cant remember what site it was... so if you know of any URLS can you post them in this thread so i can recheck em

    thanks paddy

My instructor get our gear from here. Not sure if they do stuff like timers and that, but check it out anyway.

You know how I feel about stickies. Stickies clutter up boards and more often than not contain irrelevant or outdated information. best to start a specific thread to get specific answers.

And that's the bottom line, because Stone Cold, I mean your mod, said so!

AFAIK Bas Rutten has a few tapes of workouts structured this way, might be worth taking a look for them?

While on the topic of gear, I have a question for anyone who has bought MMA clothes like shorts / t-shirts on-line from companies like Sprawl, Nogi industries, Tapout etc.

An American 'Large' in a t-shirt often seems to be the equivalent of an Irish / UK 'Extra Large'. Basing this on buying clothes when I lived in the states, and also on a Nogi t-shirt I got recently. It's an L, but is actually more like an XL. If I were ordering again, I think I would try a Medium.

Is this true of the shorts as well? Sounds funny, but does a 32" waist really mean 32" or are they cut more generously as well?
