Why did you check the flop?

It's funny that you should ask. 9 out of 10 times I'll make a continuation bet here. In this instance I wanted to keep the pot small as I was planning to check-call looking for my middler.the few hands that I had seen him play had all been Ax, Kx, and I reckoned that calling on an inside draw might be profitable in this spot. I didn't bet because although I could call a small bet on the flop, I couldn't call a raise.

    EDIT: irrelevant material deleted

Does anybody think this is an easy fold for him?

Why did you go all-in on 4th street?

No its not an easy fold but he played the whole hand like a chump and will probably die a lonely death. He managed to make a mistake on EVERY active street which is impressive.

    Why though?

Short handed, he limps with aces, which isn't that bad, seen as the table seems to be playing tight (Marq makes a $3 bet and its heads up), so he's just trying to get some action. Reraising will probably accomplish nothing.

Flop, maybe he played it badly given the high cards on board, so he could have got some action seen as its likely to have hit his opponent if he raised.

On the turn, he's put to a decision and its been acknowledged that its not an easy fold. Its his top set against one possible hand that beats him.

I would have thought that was obvious from the hand history.
I go all in because I reckon that I am up against a player that will call for all of his chips here when I have the nuts. at this level, there are so many idiots that think that a massive over-bet always means a bluff, that the all-in with the nuts move here is quite profitable. If he doesn't have a hand, I'm not getting much more out of this pot anyway.

    Also, I don't like slowplaying.

Its a brilliant move. In this case the guy had top set and so was probably going to go broke one way or the other. But say he had AQ or A2. Now even the stupidist fish might decided to slow down if you put the 4th bet in on the turn when he realises that you really really like your hand, but an open push only gives him 1 chance to fold.
