    I'm considering becoming a taxi driver P/T just wondering what are the min reqirements* for doing so ie age, clean driving licience.





    *no smart comms please.:)

    You'll need a PSV licence too. afaik they only do the exams for them every so often. And then obviously a car and taxi plate. (wasn't being smart btw)

    www.taxitaxi.ie is an excellent site with lots of info for (aspiring) taxi-drivers in the Dublin area (most info is also relevant countrywide).

    Just laughed out loud when I read that.

    No offence to taxi drivers out there, but most of them seem to be doing it part time from what they say... try not to get stuck in that rut.

    I'm not sure if it would be the most healthy job with the most social hours but good luck with it.
