Have one or two of these files that I want to put onto a dvd for a mate to watch, but one or two dont have sound at all.Im using Nerovision Express to convert them onto a dvd-rw.

Im putting 2-3 Xvid files on dvdrw at a time through Nerovision Express. The first file has no sound were as the others do.It plays fine on Pc.Anyone any ideas as to why no sound.

    Thanks

Just make a Data disc, nersvision tries to encode them and if one was encoded using a different xvid program it will be different so you get sound loss.

Treat them as single files that are ready to play and burn them as such.

Just tried that ^^.Put one single file onto dvdrw and still no sound when I play it.Must be missing a pluggin for Nerovision Express.

Use gspot to find out what the difference is between the files. My guess is that they are using different codecs and/or different sound formats....

The K-Lite Codec Pack contains all codecs you'll ever need....

You could always try using VSO's DivxToDVD, if your trying to convert it from divx to be read on a "normal" DVD player. I don't like using Nero to convert films, as the sound gets lagged on some films near the end.
