Would you consider lying in bed all day on a Sunday a waste? It's coming up on 4:00 and I havn't set a foot out of bed.

It appears you've spent the day starting stupid threads on as many forums as possible. How's that working for ya? It's a nice day you know...you should take the dog for a walk.

    no, its not a waste

lying in bed on sunday is the best, you dont have time during the week to do so

its only 10:45 am here, and ive just woken up, so i've pretty much wasted my morning.

Well there are microscopic particles of water in the air outside so I guess that counts and I am forgiven.

There is nothing as good as lazy sundays, especially for the feckers like me that have to work on saturdays when all my mates are off!

On certain days its nice, but for the love of god, look out your bloody window. Its one of the best days we have had in weeks, why waste it. I headed out early this morning to play 18 holes of golf, excellent morning.
I really woulda kicked myself if i had lay in bed all day! Who no's when we will have another sunny day?

The window is open in my bedroom. I'm getting the full glory of today in my bed. Best of both worlds. I think I'm going to get up soon enough though.

I had a great lie in yesterday, didn't get outta the scratcher until about half 4. today it was half 1

see, when i spend the day in bed, its usually to evade everything else

so all windows would be shut, curtains close.....just darkness and music and! sleep

It would be nice to spend all day in bed (not all the time.. maybe just once in a great while) but I have too much to do.

Still in bed here too, but that's largely due to the excesses of last night's beers. Not something I'd normally do.

Translates as: While you were resting I managed to hit a small white ball into 18 little holes in a very big field.

I know a guy that was 12 hours late for work because he passed out in a tumble drier when he was locked.

you have a computer in your bed, or is it one of these WAP phones that you hear about?

If you've ever listened to the comedian Dane Cook, he has a sketch about people being late for work, worth a listen.."Im late for my s****y life!! thats the worst feeling in the world..."

I think it's a bit of a waste, to be honest. I feel like I'm wasting my life when I sleep it out too late, I feel better when I'm awake, even if I'm not doing anything! I do love my sleep, and I tend to get a nap in after college most days, but I still feel like it's waste of time that could be spent doing other things :(

Best way to spend a sunday IMO.
I managed to sleep till 1pm, then stuck on bladerunner which I was just in the mood for watching...then managed to snooze for an hour when that was over.
Sometimes I'm of the attitude that it's a waste of a day, and on those days I get up and do something, but this morning I was recovering from a hectic night of questionable substance ingestion and an afternoon under the quilt was just the ticket...

i had to be up at 6;30 this morning for work at 7. twas a barrel of laughs.

Sunday is my only day off so I spend it however i feel fit without one pang of guilt.

Usually this results in my lying on until 2PM at the earliest, then doing something that "I" want to do, Im very selfish on Sundays :D

Definitely not a waste. On occasion it's exactly what's needed, as long as it's not a regular thing.

Unfortunately I find myself unable to sleep past 11am at the weekends now, no matter how late I've been out :(

I was on the razz last night so had a lovely lie in today, until 3 or something. I've just lazed around the house all day reading the papers and cosing up to an electric heater.

    I absolutely hate Sundays though. If it's a wet Sunday, there's a good chance I'll self-harm.
