    Guys,

moved here almost 2yrs ago, and had gotten used to www.machinemart.co.uk, www.screwfix.co.uk etc.... in the UK where I could click click and the tools/bits would turn up.

Really need a half decent Mig (never got on with an ARC) any ideas? I'm in Co. Kildare and been working too hard to figure out where anything is except B&Q, SuperQuinn, Tescos, Local auto parts... etc

PS. Opel Manta nut, hence the need for a welder! If you have bits or one for sale give me a shout.

    cheers
    Trev

Actually just talking to a mate tonight about where to buy, 2 places, Lucan Road, opposite the foxhunter, the corrugated building, sureweld I think their called, appartently got everything you need. The other place is in the Kylmore industrial estate, beside the furniture place on the north end, I think he called it AIL or something like that.I'll be checking them out myself,I'll post here if the details are different. On the subject of mig welders, practicle classics does a comparision test on a few, the sip migmate 105p get's the best buy,18/20, both gas and gasless and recommended price 179 sterling. Best budget buy goes to Clark 85enb at 111.57 sterling, gasless.Of course it remains to be seen whether these migs can even be bought in Ireland, what we'll pay is another matter.
