Having Serious Problem

So I got my PSP in Hong Kong in July and everything was OK until I played a game. I have 2 Region 3 games and 4 Region 1 games. Anyway I was playing a Region 3 game and the screen was flickering with these little patches of multi coloured lines. On the Region 1 game it wasnt that much of a problem but its a HUGE problem with GTA and its unbelievably infuriating.Anyone know whats wrong with it? If so what should I do?

I just rang Sony.They said they cant help me and that if I wanted it repairec I'd have to pay 135 POUNDS. Outrageous.I'm pissed. They said I should try get the Hong Kong number but I cant find it anywhere. Then it would cost me a fortube to send the ****ing yoke all the way there. God I hate Sony.

Well they have always said that they won't offer support on machines from outside Europe.

This is one I pray doesn't happen but if it does it'll be my own fault for not waiting to get it when it was released here and just taking the €180 akihabara one.

I heard from a friend that when those lines or blotches appear, it could be that the pixels on your psp are frozen or dead. It's a fault with some. And it can only be repaired by sony unfortunately.

system30305 change your sig, no animated sigs allowed, especially ones that big.

No, if it is jest dead pixels (though from your description it may well not be) you can dredge up some of the earlier dead pixel threads and you'll find a video for fixing stuck pixels. I had one on mine when I first got it and the video fixed it in 2 seconds.

Worth a try to save you 135 quid
