We have a few in work and it is pretty sweet.. The res of 1920x1200 really is a sight to behold but you had wanna make sure you have a fairly sweet graphics card if you wanna play at that res in games.

I have it's not-so-little brother, the 2005FPW and it's great. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Love to know where you're getting it for 800 quid....
I've got the 2001fp and I'm still amazed with the quality after 6 months of ownership; if the 2405 is of the same manafacturing quality then I'd assume it's the dogs wobbly bits...

i think it works out at around €800 odd from overclockers.co.uk

have the 2005fpw myself and it's fantastic. I would have got the 2405 but don't think x800xtpe could handle the res for games like fear and BF2

Not to be pedantic but it comes out at £665 stg inc VAT ex shipping...so about €1050 or so unless the OP can get it VAT free.
Still cheaper than what dell are asking ATM.
Heck even at that price it's worth it....I paid almost €600 for the 2001 which I'm sure most of you all did...driving this beast on the latest games is the tough part....you could arguably spend as much again on two SLi cards to run the more demanding titles...

my mistake, but i could swear it was cheaper a few weeks ago, it was probably one of the "weekly specials".

700 notes...I dunno I'd be snapping one up at that price since dell are lookin' more than twice that.

How much larger a resolution can we really go though, before GPUs simply can't keep up? :v:
The way forward for games now seems to be the large LCD tvs with DVI-input...

They are fantastic screens.. i have the 2005FPW.. wide screen does take a bit of getting used to .. but once you do.. there is no going back.. And the rotation feature is very handy when reading or working with pics in portrait mode.

    Brilliant screens
