    Hi

    I am currently receiving broadband from ntl.
    I have a wifi enabled laptop and iam wondering what would be the best router to bye so i can use the laptop anywhere in the house.

    Have a look at the linksys routers-

    They are savage routers easy to setup open source firmware you can't go wrong.

    From experience i have never had any real problems with linksys/cisco hardware compared to cheap nasty crap like belkin routers.

    Indeed, helps that most of them (apart from the brand new one "Wrt54gs version5") run embedded Linux so there's plenty of free third party firmware about adding nice extra features.
