Google are great men for jazzing up their graphics to coincide with topical events Easter, Halloween etc.

When I logged on to Google.ie this morning it had a Poppy in place of the final L.
It disappeared early in the day.
The modified graphic is still on Google.co.uk http://www.google.co.uk
Did any one else notice this?
What is the significance of it's removal?

Just asking, not trying to start WW3

Doubt there is any significance, there are different options on the uk site thats not on the IE one thats all.

More Irishmen died on the first day of the Battle of the Somme than in "the troubles" in NI since.
