Is there any such thing as an affordable telescope that one can use through their PC?

No such thing. By right, you can use ANY scope for imaging with a pc or laptop, with the use of a webcam, or ccd camera, and good photo manipulation software for this type of thing such as Registax. There are plenty of astrophotographers in Ireland - check out www.irishastronomy.org for loads of tips and images!

But if you mean to actually hook up a scope to a pc? Unless youve got a very understanding loan officer at the bank... There's a guy in the States that does that kind of thing - have a look at www.arnierosner.com

    Seanie.
