Did anybody go to this in the RDS?

I was at it yesterday and I have to say it was a pile of poo!

I've been wanting to go for a couple of years now, but now that I've been, I fail to see what all the fuss was about.

The best part was the artic spa's ... I really want one ... anyone got €30,000?

Apart from that though most of it was crap, and for any decent stuff, you couldn't do demenstrations or play around with them...which is what I had expected the whole thing to be about :(

There was some cool stuff though. The cars on display are fricken awesome! and there were some handy gadgets too ... and a game of poker was going on, but you couldn't get near the thing, and not a hope of getting in for a few hands.

The highlight it has to be said was the fashion show at the end! Lingerie all the way! :D

All in all though a bit of an anti-climax and not much to do at it :(

Luckily I was passed on a ticket, but they are around €15 I think, I would have been well miffed if I payed in!

I went last yr with the bf & am V into gadgets & all that stuff!

Thought it was the biggest load of sh!te ever, we couldn't wait to get out of the place, plus we drove a 2 hr journey to get there & then 2 hrs back again.

A complete waste of time & a load of rubbish!!!

Save your time & money & don't bother going.

I went to the first one and it was pretty good. Got some christmas present ideas out of it, and had some fun. Not a bad way to spend a sunday afternoon.

AFAIK it's an F430. Reg no. is 05D430. It was parked outside where I work on Suanday last and I took some pics for the hell of it because I've never seen one up close before.

Er.. yea, Des Cullan is selling a modified kitted up mr2  - either your mate is pulling your leg or he's in idiot.

I was in there on a freebie on Thursday, Its a F430.

Ummm, neither. He's right, there is a MR2 done up to look like a Ferrari using a Ferrari lookalike kit you can buy. I saw it on the news last night. Des Cullen does indeed have a 430 on display, but this is a seperate thing altogether. It's just showing off a kit you can buy to convert your MR2 into a 355 or 360 (I think) lookalike. So his mate isn't an idiot and he wasn't pulling his leg, it's a different thing altogether from the Des Cullen display.

Only a sucker would buy a ticket for that show. It's just like a larger version of The Gadget Shop. What the hell did you expect to see there? A hoverboard or something?

Went last night....pure crap. Was there last year too and thought that it was just a fluke that it was crap, thats why I went again this year. Wont be making the same mistake next year!
