I'd rather not run the race where the prize at the end is an office desk and some meaningless tasks

That's what you think... Why do you think nobody has told you what you can do with your science degree?

don't be so negative, college is not so much about what you learn, but the skills you get.
some of my friends were all negative about college, dropped out, and are doing nothing as they're too selective and don't want crap jobs.
if you have a qualification that's all you need for some jobs.

College just isn't for me... Following your own path is a fairly frowned upon thing in this country. I've plans to go to college in 2 or 3 years, right now I'd rather spend my youth wisely while I still have it.

I was doing the same course as you by the way, another girl in our course dropped out too, making it only 7 people left! Blah... well if you ever need help with the C practicals I'm a born nerd!

Nah we're Denominated. It's not the course... well there's a course I'd rather do, but it's just... COLLEGE. Blah

    End conversation

I hope you enjoy having to pay for first year of your new college degree.

did you have to repay for repeating nick?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 637 ✭✭✭Number6

nope, I was out for the exams due to illness... the government waived my fees, which is different to dropping out because you don't "like" a course.

Although I did need a LOT of doctors notes saying that I was unfit to sit the exams, but I was well enough to repeat the year.

ouch, reconsider. Take a year out of college, then decide if u wanna go back.
Thats what i`d do, but each man must follow his own path, is that a native american proverb??

thats wrong. You have to pay half fees. Not sure if thats applicable in a situation where you change college, but definitely if you remain in the same college and do a different/same course.
