creating GIF's

    how does one go about making a GIF image? is there a special programme?

    I use Jasc Animation Shop 3, its simple, you just go to "Open" and select the video you want to make into a gif and it converts it straight to gif format, most avi and mpg files work, i don't think any .wmv files work though, i would be interested to know if anyone else has a program that can convert .wmv to gif

    You can use Photshop to make GIFs as well ^_^
