OK i watched this one last night and it was class. It made hairs stand up on the back of my kneck at one point and thats come achievement for a TV show. Its based on HP lovecrafts `Dreams in the witch house` . It still shocks me a little how much they can get away with on a TV show these days but then it was on showtime. Here is a blurb on it I got off a site.

"Walter Gilman, a college student rents a loft in a building in the New England town of Arkham. While studying interdimensional string theory at college he is haunted by nightmares of a 17th century witch and her rat with a human face. He must prevent the death of his neighbour’s baby at the hands of these forces while it’s possible he could become the murderer himself."

Any one else seen this one?

BTW if ya think im mad starting a thread for just one epp go take a look at the Lost forum those guys can have a 10 page thread for just one epp.

Ive seen the first two so far. Third is out tomorrow is it ? I really enjoyed it, felt like a low budget 80s horror movie. Really liked the ending.

I think every ending in this series will rip yer guts out. Its like an M night Shylamn film you go in expecting the twist at the end.

I saw both episodes so far, and while the first was enjoyable, I wasn't too mad on it. Being a fan of Lovecraft, I was really looking forward to this one. I wasn't let down, but I've kinda become used to the fact that Stuart Gordon has his own little kitsch interpretations, rather than really capturing the feel and atmosphere of the stories. What I mean to say is that it's moreso Gordon than Lovecraft.

I think it would've been a lot better if it wasn't for Ezra Godden, he's just an extremely wooden actor. The rat was really rather silly aswell. Spooky is right though, I was a little shocked with some of the gore considering this is a TV show.

All that said, it's been good so far.
