Earlier in the year I bought the Lidl setup. Unfortunatley, the receiver died after about 6mths and thinking it might be something simple, i opened it up to have a look. No dice, it was something I could not fix.

I resigned myself to chucking it and buying a new one. I got a Strong 6355 from Tony, a nice bit of kit and does the job superbly.

Anyway, I emailed Comag last week wondering if it was possible to get a replacment power supply. I got a reply today and even though I told them that I removed the cover myself, they say that as long as it is under 3years old, that I should just send it back to them for repair.

Well I guess I know wheer I will be sending it now, once I get it back, I think it will be time to get a twin lnb and put the Comag in the bedroom!

I had heard that I could update the firmware, I never wanted to do it while it was my only recevier though. Once it gets repaired, I think I shall.

I presume that there is nothing on 28.2/28.5 that would be of interest.
