Hey folks, does anyone here know of a decent radio device capable of picking up the british radio stations over in the wilds of west Donegal?
I know some of them can be got using sky digital, but this isn't really practical. Doesn't matter if it's analogue/digital/satellite.
    Any help would be appreciated.

How wild are we talking here? Anything west of Dunlewey is going to be pretty optimistic.
Best bet is probably analogue - digital signal is hairy enough in the UK, let alone in Donegal...

Have you tried using 'Windows Media Player' ?.. 'Version 10' seems to be the best.

To be honest, satellite is going to be your best bet. You'll have all BBC radio channels including 5 Live, and many BBC digital-only channels like 6Radio and R7. Plus the countless commercial radio channels, like Virgin, Capital, and of course RTE radio.

You don't need to pay Sky or anything. Just get a free-to-air digital receiver and dish aimed at 28.2E
