    Hi,
Plasma screens were erected in reception and A&E in Mater Hospital, Dublin during the summer. I paid for an advertising slot but every time I checked the screens were not working. Has anyone seen the screens working - there should be a loop of ads - over the past few months?
    Thanks.

Thankfully, I havent had to use the Mater hospital in recent times.
Such advertising would have to be very selective, given the audience.
What was the spot for, if you dont mind me asking?

Someone called me a few months back looking to place ads on that.

You should ring up whoever sold you the advertising package and ask for a refund.

Who was selling them? Would be a great opportunity for the legal profession!

advertising in such a place is wrong. the last thing you wanna see when your in hospital is advertising. though fair play to the advertiser, it is something different

Was it coffins or funeral homes? Solicitors? Health insurance (bit late for that now...)?, life assurance/insurance?
Drugs (@ doctors), medical equipment, contract cleaning, security (@admins)?

Or perhpas Christmas ads in summer and summer holiday ads at christmas to depress the terminally ill. Depression is always the best motivator for driving the sheeple to spend money.

And they say ad-men have no souls?
