There is still the assocation that Sex is bad!
Personally i am not telling ppl to go out and have sex with every Tom Dick or Harry thats your own choice!
I am saying that i waited till i was 18 and had found someone i cared about. We have a fun active and healthy sex life.
I feel that people sstill assocatite the words dirty, bad, evil with sex.
Am i right or imaging things?

Ehh that's nice. Did you mean to reply to a thread or create a new thread? If this is a new thread it should be in Humanities, maybe..

    Imagining it.... I think...
Mmm, maybe the people I know are very open minded but sex has never been a taboo topic. Not since we where around 18 and could share a chat in the pub over a few drinks, since then it has been information overload, I am probabaly most secretive infact.

no you are not imagining things at all I'm quit open about sex and im not promiscuous but my friends aren't. They look at it as something to do with there boyfriends but hardly any of them seem interested in improving their sex life's if they are not happy because they its like they consider it slutty and wrong to enjoy sex

Maybe they just consider it personal and don't want to discuss their sex lives with their friends . . .it's hardly fair on the boyfriend is it.

I've been in a long relationship so it was common knowledge that we'd be doing it, so there was never any need to go into details.
I've now just started to date someone else & we haven't had sex yet. I know all my friends are V interested & eager to know when we do.
Because of the interest I'll make it obvious to them that we've done it when we do, but I won't come right out & say it.

I don't think of sex as being bad & dirty or anything like that & I enjoy it a lot, I just feel that it's something only me & my partner share, it's something special between us & the details of what we did / didn't do is no one else's business.

Sex bounderies have become much wider over the years. It all depends on the persons bounderies. Eg. I know a girl who has slept with literally 100's of men. She just goes out and meets a guy and us guys rarely say no. I don't like the idea but she is sound, smart and doesn't act like a tramp so we'r good friends, there her bounderies. I know another person who's 21 and she waiting for the right guy... her bounderies obvisously differ. Me sex is fun and I'l have one night stands but its something I'd particullarly like to do it with someone I cared about.

Its not a case of giving a blow by blow account (forgive the pun)
I agree that its private i mean sex in general if you talk abot it then your doing it s a childish mentality to have (I anin't saying you do).
Girls are considered slut because we have become freed by things like the pill and comdoms. We hqave a right to enjoy sex and being open

you mean only men have sex? i dont understand, surely half the people who have sex are women?

only if the person looking has some sort of preconcieved notion. perhaps its some sort of intolerance on the side of the person doing the looking?

sounds like a very immature guy to me.
