    I saw a review in PC Format about the ATI X1800 and it said that the 7800 512mb would be out soon so maybe its just on preorder?

    yeh...makes you wonder tho...is it not a typo...thought the release date was next monday and there wass an embargo on sites even posting the stock til then

    They were probably referring to the 7800SX (I think it's SX anyway), which comes with 512, the card in the review above is a regular GTX with 512Mb.

    Just looking at the article and it says NVIDIA will probably relase a 7800GTX with higher memory clocks and a rereshed 7800 with a high core frequency

    yeh, well I guess we gotta wait and see...tho all the indicators are it could be a pretty powerful performer
