They've moved the Jack J gig to the Point. they have just ruined the gig for everyone. (except those who got no tickets). he's going from the best venue in ireland to the worst...

    im so wrecked.

    ruined.

unlucky for those who spent €150 for a ticket!

coz the point is the sh***est venue. its just a big barn. wouldnt like to see anyone play there, especially someone chilled like jack johnson.

obiously youve never been to a gig in vicar street.

i think its fair enough that im bitchin about the change in venue but im still not missing the gig. it would have been 100 times better to see him in an intimate venue like vicar street instead of a sweaty stink hole with 9,000 other people. just my opinion, thought id express it.

    enjoy manchester, should be cool

I'm gutted too, I won't go to the point unless I really really really need to see the band, and even then only if they're a big 'stagey' band.

I wish he'd changed to the Olympia rather than that barn. :(

I'm not gonna get a refund though, I really want to see him.

    Well I'm feckin delighted!

Checked the site at lunch today on the off chance, and there it was, The Point.
Immediately tried Ticketmaster but they knew nothing of the change, so had to ring Aiken promotions to find out they weren't on sale 'til next Thursday.

I tell ye, if I miss them this time, or the net goes down in work, I'll go mad!
Figure there's 8000 - 1500 = 6500 left, so if sold out in 3 mins last time, I've got about 12 mins to get them next week ;)

Yeah, i just heard the news this morning, I am going to see him in Manchester too but I bought 4 tickets for vicar street @ €175 per tickets so you can imagine how i feel right now:-(

The one plus is that anyone with a vicar street standing ticket is allowed in 15 mins before and gets automatic into the Pitt ;-)

plus since its in the points i'm getting back stage....guess i got to look on the bright side, right?

Why on earth did you pay that much for tickets when you were seeing him already? Where'd you hear that info about ppl with standing tix?

I called + if you go to aiken promotions website it says it...

Why did i spend that much? I guess the main reason was that it was on in Vicar Street and i absolutely love that venue...

No one to blame but myself but I'm slowly getting over it...slowly...
