Tote Ten To Follow time again.

Anyone bother to enter it this year? After looking over the 500 selections for the last hour or so it really is a hopeless cause. I'd do better this year with getting my lucky pin out.

Well worth entering all the same, an Irishman won it last year, a nice cool 1,000,000 GBP for him.

I'm going to throw up my selections up here that I've entered into the Tote competition and when each one runs I'll post up how there did. God knows no one might be interested but it may add a bit of value to the forum.

Selections winning Jumps races under the Rules of Racing in Great Britain or Ireland during the period of the competition will be awarded points as follows:
25 points in a race worth £30,000 or more to the winner.
20 points in a race worth £25,000 up to £29,999 to the winner.
15 points in a race worth £15,000 up to £24,999 to the winner.
12 points in a race worth £10,000 up to £14,999 to the winner.
10 points in a race worth less than £10,000 to the winner.

Bonus Races - An additional 25 points will also be awarded to the winner and 12 points to the runner-up in each of the following races:

not a bad 10 but surely kicking king, dun doire and newmill would be substitute selections rather than original picks. I like macs joy for the champion this yr as McCoy won't be on brave inca.

I gotta take into account injuries as last year there were so many, didn't want the situation to arise whereby I had too many horses in the one category so to speak. I suspect Dun Doire won't do much winning until next April in Aintree, will be interesting to see how he gets on on should he run in Aintree this weekend.

There is no mini league setup, the mini league post was from last year. I won't be setting up one either, I'm already in one in my local.

The first main leader board and points update won't be up until the end of November, there is no monthly prize for November. It's quite easy to work out what points you have yourself.
