Digi: Have you checked whether Studsol01 [College server] allows you access to PHP..? ..what do you need hosting for?

Catch is, everything has to be uploaded using their dialup service, meaning a call to the UK, so its not *that* free..

I only have JSP and ASP access with the college. I had a temp host, but I am now stuck. I run 2 websites myself, one being a (Wordpress) blog, and the other being a wiki. If anyone can suggest where I can get PHP and access to at least 2 mySQL databases I'd be much appreciative.

Would it be major, like what bandwidth (given i have 140gb)
what disk space are you looking for? max i can give is 200mb
i can setup 2 mysql db for you
is it for the wiki and blog?
Only catch is you will either have .sparky-s.com or .sparky-internet.com at the end of your address.
I can also add the wiki and blog install files to your directorys aswell to save you doing so.
I can setup a FTP for you aswell so you can upload your files.

It wouldn't be anything major - it's not a torrent site or anything!
With regards to bandwidth - I will host any bandwidth intensive files (podcasts, etc.) on my studsol01 account (college account).

200Mb is more than enough.

For the moment my main concern is getting my blog sorted as I need a "portfolio" site and this is going to be it (Wordpress is my blogging system of choice).
The wiki is an online community project which I gotta kickstart once my blog is sorted.

I already have 2 domain names registered - would it be possible to switch these over to the space you are offering?

FTP access is just perfect.

What would you like in return - something more than a link at the bottom of each page no doubt?

b) you might wanna check with TSU before hosting the files - it's absolutely nothing to them to provide this service..but they're ... [ifyouhavenothingnicetosay..] y'know.. I'd say that they'll turn a blind eye to it, until you get into trouble for something else- then it'll all comeback on you.. *shrug*

If Sparky can't allow another domain: just use URL forward (not as neat, but hey..)
Sparky: do you have your own dedicated, or where are you getting hosting?
