Bizarre Orange Strategy - please don't use our product

    Orange the UK mobile company are running a really strange campaign at the moment. Essentially the theme is good things happen when your phone is turned off.

    They have bill boards all around the place with 'Off' on them.

    I am an Orange customer and always liked their brand, but this is a a pretty high risk concept. I would say it goes over the head of must viewers, but i kinda like it.

    Not sure what to make of it.
    Any link of the outdoor ads?
    Seems nice and fuzzy... something Vodafone are going with their "Now" campaign (mayfly etc..).
    A poetic version of what happened that evening, a sense of connection and community" is how director Noam Murro of Biscuit Filmworks describes the spot's enchantment
    I guess it shows that they want to enforce the brand relationship even when your not even using the product.
